Art in Your Hand, Arts Council England 60th Anniversary

Of Many Circles conceived and publicised the national celebratory programme, a series of artworks on mass-produced objects by leading contemporary artists and writers. Products included artist designed re-usable carrier bags in partnership with Sainsbury’s. The bags, by artists Michael Craig-Martin, Anya Gallacio and Paul Morrison resulted in a 70% increase in bag for life sales, successfully demonstrating the power of art to shift behaviour.

Artist designed travel wallets were distributed at travel interchanges nationwide. Commissioned artists included Michael Clark, Tracey Emin, Tim Etchells, Bernardine Evaristo, TY and Jeanette Winterson.
